Anchorage residents: Get your kids ready early for the school year by bringing their required vaccinations up to date! The Anchorage Department of Health and Human Services is offering free vaccinations to children 0-18 years old until July 31st. Children enrolled in Alaska schools must be immunized against: • Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis (DTap/DT/Td/Tdap) • Polio • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) • Hepatitis A • Hepatitis B • Varicella (Chicken pox) through 6th grade • Hib (Haemophilus influenzae type b) – under age 5 years only Receive these vaccinations free of charge at the DHHS Public Health Clinic, 825 L Street, First Floor. WALK-INS ONLY. Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8am-5pm (please arrive by 4:30pm.) Wednesday: 1pm-5pm (please arrive by 4:30pm.)
